The following boutiques have been confirmed as fashion show participants:

Each store will showcase its take on how to “dress like a local” this fall season, with a celebrity emcee providing style notes for the audience.

“This is a great opportunity to have a fun night out supporting small business, while previewing some of the latest trends in fashion,” said Danielle MacLanders, owner of Southern Sisters Boutique. “I think people will enjoy seeing how much Greer is growing, and it’s a chance for them to discover some of the great shops and restaurants while they’re here.”

A bourbon and spirits tasting will begin at 6 p.m., provided by locally-owned Six & Twenty Distillery.

“Downtown Greer is home to a group of very unique, very diverse group of merchants,” said Reno Deaton, Executive Director of the Greer Development Corporation.  “Some are Upstate institutions, and some have just recently established great reputations for style, elegance, and first class customer service.  It is an honor to be able to showcase their creativity and commitment to their customers with our first ever Dress Like a Local fashion show and bourbon tasting.  Whether you are looking for something for a night out, an important function, or simply to help you stand out in the crowd, these Greer merchants truly know what it means to be best in class and dress like a local.”
